Red note

Isnt is kinda beautiful to see how Americans and the Chinese are getting along. It’s the most connected we’ve ever been with each other and most users are accepting us. Granted, we will have to limit brain rot and post high quality content, but it’s nice to a lot of us getting along

This influx of new users is really fucking up the Live streaming section and content feeds. A bunch of racist shit. Red note should segregate the content or ban em.

The racists and the people that can't be nice should be banned. They're going to cause issues for those of us that actually care to learn and interact

I’m just sad to see some American already starting to post shitty quality videos up and just ask about how gay and trans are in Chinese. Like, it’s a platform about lifestyle and high quality content!!! Besides that, it looks fine to me

From the experiences of these days, Chinese starting to find out the Germans are more detestable than the Americans 🤣

Unfortunately, several people have already encountered the situation of being impersonated. Some ill-intentioned people moved the TikTok videos to Rednote in advance before the original owners and impersonated them.

Then, when the original owners tried to use Rednote, they reported them for plagiarism. This is really very sad.

When I comment I translate it to Chinese first and I write the comment again in English. Google Lens is such a helpful tool too, I can translate everything on my screen without having to take a screenshot every time

If you think it’s beautiful, don’t start looking into actual comments by Chinese nationals on mandarin only posts insulting and using racial slurs towards a myriad of other countries from Korea/Japan/Vietnam/India. It’s pretty wild how they welcome American foreigners while in the same vein trash talking any other country they deem inferior. I’m half Vietnamese half Chinese (American immigrant) and I was looking into it to see if there were other viet Americans on there to connect with and started reading all the terrible comments. I knew there was tension between the two countries but never paid attention to it growing up in the US until this whole thing, but like they call Viets “jungle monkeys” and all sorts of insults. I saw multiple comments trashing Indians while making fun with each other about how they complimented an Indian post to make them feel better.

Not here to try and spread propaganda or anything but there’s more than one side to this story and my conspiracy theorist is kicking in high gear 🤣. This whole TikTok shut down plus convenient introduction of this app and then them actually allowing us to stay on it is very interesting timing indeed

I'm Chinese and I grew up in the UK and this exchange made me cry lol, years of being called a CCP shill on random websites to people that knew nothing about anything and all of a sudden the floodgates are opened! It feels like I'm actually living in a dream T__T I just really hope the quality of content doesn't go down cos I've been using REDnote for 3-4 years now

Logical-Dare-4103over 1 year ago-3

All I'm seeing is massive whining, horribilizing, and exaggerated aims about how bad it is here. Someone saying we spray our food with poison, and that's why we're fat. And everyone on there (bots?) wringing their hands and stuff. It's super weird and creepy.

Y’all truly are delusional when it comes to red note.

Making the Jump from TikTok to Rednote(Xiaohongshu)? Here’s What You Need to Know

So you’re thinking about switching (or at least dabbling) from TikTok to **Rednote** (aka Xiaohongshu)? Here’s a quick rundown on what to expect and how to adapt: 1. **Different Vibe** * **TikTok** is all about short, snappy videos—dances, trends, and memes. * **Rednote** leans more toward lifestyle tips, product reviews, and personal stories. Think mini-blogs rather than just quick clips. 2. **Less is More—or Is It?** * On **TikTok**, you can go viral with a 15-second masterpiece. * On **Rednote**, people actually read captions and appreciate detailed posts. Don’t be afraid to write a bit more and share personal insights. 3. **Engage with the Community** * Responding to comments is key on both platforms, but **Rednote** users expect a friendlier, more helpful approach. Focus on real interaction rather than just racking up views. 4. **Use Relevant Hashtags & Keywords** * **TikTok** hashtags can be trendy and fleeting. * **Rednote** hashtags and keywords should be more targeted, especially if you’re reviewing products or sharing how-to tips. 5. **Be Ready for Culture Shifts** * The **Rednote** audience often loves beauty, travel, fashion, and “real-life” hacks. * If you’re pivoting from dance challenges, consider experimenting with lifestyle or review content to fit the platform’s style. 6. **Quality Over Quantity** * While **TikTok** can reward frequent posting, **Rednote** might favor fewer, well-thought-out posts that really resonate. High-quality visuals and genuine storytelling go a long way. Got questions about Rednote? Drop ’em below—always happy to help a fellow content creator make the jump!

The ban isn't really about privacy concerns

Why exactly? You and me know why America is banning tiktok... They can't control the narrative their like they do with Facebook or Instagram YouTube. etc The genocide in Gaza was being shown in its full without any kind of censorship... And daddy israel doesn't like that so the AIPAC who's holding the American politicians by the balls... Forced them into banning the app.... It's not about privacy or any of that.... Remember edward Snowden.? I rest my case.

Y'all know why Trump suddenly became "pro-TikTok" right?

Say it with me....because he and his oligarch buddies are getting worried Americans are waking up to the truth about the anti-China propaganda BS in Red Note and will either demand better conditions or go full socialist.
