Is anyone still unable to log into TikTok?

I have iPhone, from the US and haven’t been able to log on at all. I have the same pop up and then asks to close the app. It’s so frustrating.

This happens only on android, can you confirm? Iphone is good

I fixed mine, it seems like it happened because my account wasn't from the US.

1. Change your IP to a location outside of the US
2. Open the app -> settings and privacy -> account -> account information.
3. You should see the country you created your account in under “Account Region”. Click it, and you should be able to update your account location to the US.

This restored my access. The downside is, I seem to have lost all my messages which is kind of sad. I hope this helps. It seems non-US accounts currently do not work in the US.
