I use Surfshark as a VPN, have it set to Canada, changed my in app location to Canada, and have turned off sharing my location. IP address still displays as United States. Just trying to get ahead of a potential ban. No safety concerns. Thanks!
At least with the Tik Tok ban, changing VPN IP address didn’t do a damn thing. And I doubt any Rednote ban would be any different.
I wish I knew a way around this
It is not recommended to use a VPN, it does not have a firewall, but may be blocked because of the VPN.If you're looking for a tool to check for unfriendly words and sensitive topics before posting, give this a try: https://pse.is/6zsrsh. Why exactly? You and me know why America is banning tiktok... They can't control the narrative their like they do with Facebook or Instagram YouTube. etc The genocide in Gaza was being shown in its full without any kind of censorship... And daddy israel doesn't like that so the AIPAC who's holding the American politicians by the balls... Forced them into banning the app.... It's not about privacy or any of that.... Remember edward Snowden.? I rest my case.
Say it with me....because he and his oligarch buddies are getting worried Americans are waking up to the truth about the anti-China propaganda BS in Red Note and will either demand better conditions or go full socialist.
Now Americans want to move to China bc they are just finding out that it’s not an underdeveloped and ugly country like they imaged 🤯 and this is the case with so many other countries, western media keeps you in a bubble
I’m considering dowloading xhs. I would literally just save things, use it as a 2nd Pinterest. I wouldn’t comment, dm, post, even like posts. I literally js want the inspo. I’d use mandarin and I wouldn’t save too quickly. I just need tips as to how I can’t get banned.
Having a weird problem, I used to be able to get to this 'boost' screen in English. Like I could promote my posts and pay using red coins.. But then I clicked "boost" again and it all went into Chinese. I tried logging in from a different device, using a fresh new account, all the same problem. It's like Rednote somehow changed my region, and now I can't go back
I’ve never made bad comments on either or something like that to even have gotten restricted in the first place. I was thinking maybe it thought I was a bot but both accounts are held on different phones. So it’s unlikely that. I’ve tried so many things to fix it but I’m unable too what would you recommend? Or is this just something I can’t fix?
