It’s pretty much business as normal for mine, but my girlfriend is next to me on tiktok and it’s all revolution stuff, people crying over tiktok, some right wing stuff and brain rot. Feels kinda brainwashy to me. Also if u look up #fuckjoebiden it comes up but #fucktrump doesn’t that’s also strange

I downloaded a VPN, and Live came back, but it's very glitchy, and I only see people overseas.
My FYP is back to normal with the VPN, so I think it may just be US based servers.

I feel like my world got smaller
Feel free to laugh, but that’s what it felt like when I got the message that TikTok wasn’t available. I’m sad. But thank God our representatives, who have done nothing, finally united to make sure this happened. Don’t forget Trump started this whole thing when he said he wanted to ban it and also on August 6, 2020 signed an executive order to put sanctions on TikTok.

Issue
I got rid of tiktok a while ago because of some issues and wanted to log back in now and its asking for my password? I logged into my second account easily without needing that and I had changed phones before as well and it never asked for it. Now its asking for a password I never had and I cant ask for support bc its just AI and it literally cant solve this problem. If anyone knows what to do I would appreciate it. I have had the account for years and my videos, and friends are on there. I really dont know what to do. I cant even change my password using my email if I did forget it which is the most frustrating part here. How is AI supposed to h e lp if I forget MY password?! Just let me change it

TikTok not sending verification code to my phone number
I am trying to turn on 2-Step Verification inside the official TikTok app here in the US, but the app will not send the SMS verification code to my phone number. My email is already verified, but it won't let me finish setting up the extra security without the phone number working. I have already tried checking my spam and blocked text folders, turning off Wi-Fi to use cellular data, and double-checking my app permissions, but nothing has worked. If anyone else has dealt with this specific issue while trying to set up account security, how did you get the text message to actually send?
