How does one benefit from gifting?

I’ve tried asking this before and my question got deleted and I was told to post it in the mega thread so I did and it got ignored. I just want to know… I’ve been giving some gifts to my favourite content creators because personally some of them are like I’m getting free therapy if I have to be honest and i enjoy gifting small things where I can. I am currently level 10 on gifter level up programme, but are there actually any benefits to gifting? E.g does it make your tik tok stand out more? Does it make the creators engage with you more? Surely there has to be some incentive if there is literally a whole level up system
