TikTok Best Eras

That's just standard nostalgia. I think the golden era is this past year, actually. The "fun" days of TikTok were mostly trivial trends, dances, thirst traps and funny skits. However, TikTok has matured since then and as of late, is used more for communities, political activism, sharing information in real-time, etc. Sure, the funny/trivial/trends/dances are still there, but it's no longer the ONLY thing trending.

Nobody saw TikTok as a threat until we started talking to one another. Hence the ban aka "we don't want to actually ban it but rather control the information/exploit the people ourselves".

I miss the old tik tok. Back before covid when it was still a dancing app with some other cool videos and trends. Fast forward to the last couple of years it has become a cesspool of misinformation and adultery. Don't get me wrong there's still a lot of good content on there but it just doesn't hit the same as it did in 2019-2020. I'd say the turning point of tik tok was 2023 which is on par with your rankings.

What about the period between 2015 and 2018 or am I missing something here?
