What do you think about those influencers who confessed their lies before the TikTok ban?

Before the TikTok ban, some influencers admitted that they had been lying about some of the most important aspects of their personal brands. Some of them confessed how they never even used the hacks they shared while others admit the real intentions behind their content.

What do you think about that? Were they being honest or just trying to get attention?

Most of the ones I saw seemed like obvious jokes. Although maybe I just wasn't following the ones who revealed true lies. I mean professional influencers are on more than one platform so I doubt many were telling true serious career ruining lies.

My confession was as a small content creator I have no idea why brands work with me because I think I suck 🤣

One of the videos I found funny, however: was from a TikToker that I was influenced by.

She is an ice maker. She has an entire freezer with different drawers of soup ice, espresso ice, fruit ice, ice that looks like tiny spheres, ice that looks like straws... etc.

I ended up buying a mini freezer so that I could make ice, too, since it looked really cool. I love my ice. Fruit ice taste amazing in a glass of wine.

But, a few days ago, she said, "I don't use any of that ice. I don't like cold drinks."

I just had to laugh, sitting there with my glass of wine and my giant sphere of iced raspberries. I totally fell for it!

That being said, I'm still making ice. It taste really freaking good and is so convenient.

I think I have the ability to decide whether or not to lie, and like to think I use it with good judgment. They don’t, or didn’t.

I expected it. Media is fake.

But the ones promoting fake health and wellness strategies are seriously evil, because they were either prohibiting people from finding real help or, worse, promoting strategies that harmed their mind/bodies.

All influencers are liars. They are just looking for attention and money
