Feel free to laugh, but that’s what it felt like when I got the message that TikTok wasn’t available. I’m sad. But thank God our representatives, who have done nothing, finally united to make sure this happened. Don’t forget Trump started this whole thing when he said he wanted to ban it and also on August 6, 2020 signed an executive order to put sanctions on TikTok.

I dont think i can put into words what this app has done for me. I lost my dad a year ago and tiktok was genuinely the only thing that kept me sane. If this is truly the end if just like to say thank you. I know most everyone here has some type of storyof what TikTok means to them and if you want to share id love to hear them. Kid keeps stealing my videos

Pretty much, I took clips from a youtube video of a sports game, put them into a highlight reel and posted it onto tiktok. This guy screen recorded it and straight up stole my vid. I dm him saying “you stole my vid” after commenting multiple times that he stole it, he says “i didnt copy it its different” - its not different. I dm him why i can tell he stole it, he blocks me. Little ratbag, can anyone lmk if I can get his account taken down 😂

Does “liked a video you reposted” tell you they visited your profile, or can it happen from their FYP?

If I go to someone’s profile, open their reposts, and like one of the videos directly from their repost tab, does TikTok still send them a notification saying **“\[username\] liked your repost”**? Or did TikTok remove that specific notification and now say something like **“\[username\] liked a video you reposted”**? I’ve seen older posts saying there used to be a distinction between the two, but I’m wondering what TikTok does currently in 2026. Also, if the exact same TikTok someone reposted just appears on my FYP and I like it there, would they get a notif? Bc SO many of my moots repost TikToks that end up on my FYP and I like them, so would they get a notif every single time?? Basically I’m trying to figure out if the notification actually tells them that I went to their profile/reposts and liked it from there, or if they could’ve just gotten the TikTok on their FYP. I’m asking bc I wanna know if someone liking one of MY reposts means they actually went on my profile/reposts or if they could’ve just seen it on their FYP 😭 I HOPE IM MAKING SENSE LMAO
