XHS won't be banned because it is a "piece" of the machinery. I don't know about China, but American execs and politicians do not care what we engage with, so long as we remain in a state of absorbed positive boredom.
Yes, there is always fascination with the new, and the last week or so has been a beautiful cultural moment (one of the best some people will know for the rest of their lives). But Americans, as someone on XHS put it in a BRILLIANT way, are really good at striving. In his words, not mine (though I'm paraphrasing), "Americans won't move to change as long as they can continue living just barely above water, and politicians and executives know this."
And this is why XHS won't be banned. Because it allows for more diversion, entertainment, escapism, etc.
Call them the 1% or the Illuminati or the Reptilians or whatever the heck you want, they care only that we do two things: give them our time (with work/money or attention) and die (to make way for more of the same).
Yes, this sounds grim, but when you see how nearly 14% of the American population are living - in half-burnt houses (cause no home insurance), on the streets (cause no job security), with constant pain from working in insane conditions (cause no healthcare), or drugged up on illicit shit (cause all the above or more) - you realize that there are no other words. In fact, there really are no words, and everything I just wrote is ash compared to what these people go through. I am lucky to be able to write this. Because they go through what they go through, I am able to write this. I am able to go on XHS or Reddit or whatever and escape (I speak for myself, not for you).
And that's why it won't be banned, because XHS is a window, not a door.
