I have been using Rednote for 3 years now and use it mostly to look at art drawings, watch mandarin lessons or Chinese drama related things. However up until recently my for you page has been overwhelmed with American politics?? No matter how much I dislike they keep popping up??? And if it's not American politics then I get lewd post which I'm not even interested in. It really leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I'm wondering if it's just me.

I can’t say it’s full of politics but I probably see one or two posts a day. I just scroll on by.. If you k Tracy with them the algorithm will serve you more.

There’s a lot of astroturfing going on there just check out the profile before you engage. If it’s a controversial post and they have less than 5 followers just block them
I thought I fixed mines but I still get an English video here and there. I'm a bit indignant about it because they can just go back to Tiktok if they want to get political or maybe just stop with the " I LOVE CHINA" videos because, to me, it's so cringe.
