Is this recent mass-banning due to their plan to IPO?

This is September news so I'm bit late to it but I feel like it coincides with the mass banning of foreigner is due to Rednote trying to IPO, which as a result drew attention from the government, who had a talk with them and basically told them to crack down on the 'extreme feminism' that's huge on Rednote. I think Rednote is just making a show of working on crackdowns so they can successfully IPO.

Any local Chinese care to verify if this is true or not? I got the news from bilibili, which leans anti-feminism.

The ban isn't really about privacy concerns

Why exactly? You and me know why America is banning tiktok... They can't control the narrative their like they do with Facebook or Instagram YouTube. etc The genocide in Gaza was being shown in its full without any kind of censorship...
