Hc is just so ridiculous sometimes.

Really depends on how your character is built defensively and the map mods that you're running. Rewatching death clips helps tremendously in diagnosing the root cause 90% of the time.

However, 5/6 HC deaths (96+) for me this league have been with boss one shots, which ultimately I chalk it up as a knowledge/recklessness issue on my part

Show your character / defenses? I find it hard to believe you're doing juiced t16s in hc and randomly get one shot.

I run juiced content in hc trade and my character is turbo tanky and built to survive any random map damage. I can facetank any boss mechs + regular map mobs could never kill my character. If you're doing juiced content your character has to be built to be nearly immortal

With servers being awful and pings going in the thousands once in a while I wouldn't even dare touching hc.,

What oneshot did you die to? Only some bosses red attacks can oneshot me and some abyssal rares if I tank the shotgun.

No I don't because I don't play HC anymore. So much more fun.

I posted a video because I thought maybe I never experienced a mechanic on Arbiter, but apparently he just bugged and insta exploded his meteor

Running MoM EB with 5.1k max mana but often above that from remnants. Had a hasted mana drain enemy spawn out of the ground once. Immediately reacted and tried to roll away, but it chased my roll and i was Immediately dead less than 0.5 seconds when the rest of the map was a low pulse breeze. Felt like there was no warning and nothing I could do to prevent it. There's also the times I've been oneshot in the starting room of the temple by those laser cannon enemies offscreen while buffing with adonia's and have lower elemental res. The lil laser ball cue they leave can be really hard to see mid combat also with how similar they look to a mana remnant.

Btw we have ignite charms, as well as crit resistance on chest and tree.

Lost an 87 to abyssal Doryani elite off screen, lost 91 to digsite boss bug where he died and the safe spot disappeared ( should have quit out ) currently 96 waiting for the next shenanigans...
