COC Blood Mage build, would really love advice

First, if you have MoM, you will need to use Lifetap gems in pretty much all skills that consume huge amounts of mana.

And I see you have pretty much perfect gears with life cost efficiencies.

I am playing Blood Magic and crappier gears.

If Lifetap is costing too much life, you can try adding Efficiency II and see how it feels.

Get a heart of the well diamond. 2 gain as extra damage and a 2% mana cost converted to life cost so that 100% of mana to life. 4th mod is your choice crit chance, damage or cast speed.

Whats wrong with just using it as the spark coc the way that other player had it setup? That's some pretty nice gear, you just need to learn how to use it? Its a mana stacker setup, so you just use life as your cast cost and mana is your life pool. That amulet is amazing for a mana stacker caster.

I've just finished the build, it's fun to play and high dps. I follow ImJustAnthony's guide. He has many variants. I initially used Spark, the switched to Ele Weakness, and stick with it.

Couple things you could try. Your curse aoe is 4.5 and you want at least 4.7 so the cascaded curses hit a single target. You've got %70 faster curse activation and want around 99% (100% and over breaks the build). You can solve both with 2 faster curse and increased aoe jewels.

You can use the NOT function on the trade site to get a rathpith without certain mods, so spells don't cost an addition %5 of your max life.

If you switch to lifetap and a Controlled metamorphosis with medium ring in the socket by MoM, you could save 8 passive points. Changing how you path to eldritch battery and using a From Nothing Jewel would save you another 5. Up to you if 13 more passive points is worth changing to using lifetap on your skills. It does let you take some of the energy, aoe, and harder to reach crit nodes.

Off hand staff with sigil of power. I also kept my frost bomb setup from cold spark for elemental exposure. Drop both while a boss is talking for some extra damage.

Fire infusions from living bomb bring my comet average hit from 300k each to 744k each. Link that with Arbiter's Ignition for a free %25 more elemental damage and massive freeze build up.

I also dropped headhunter for a rare belt for more life/res/mana and went with atziris acuity for instant leech. HH feels so good on attack builds, but we've got screen wide aoe already so it felt like it wasn't doing much for me outside of an occasional haste mod.

Either stun or ailment from venom drought is totally fine. Get yourself 3 charms.

I’m late to the season and am currently doing lvl 12 maps but I can’t for this life of me find a cheap enough amulet. That one you have is crazy nice. Overall great gear. You should be smoking the game with that gear.

Search Antonie guide for Bm CoC Doedre build and you can respect some passives and gems. Also, if you use the soul tether belt, it will greatly improve your survivability as you can instantly leech ES.
