Waystones are interesting, because they have the same concept of prefixes and suffixes, just like the equipment. You can use all of the crafting currency on waystones to “juice” them, make them more dangerous, and get better rewards. However, the more juice, the less respawns you will get, so be careful.
The “tier” of the waystones will determine the level of the map, just like in the campaign, how the enemy levels get higher as you play through it. Tier 1 is lvl 65, and tier 15 is lvl 79.
And remember- earning XP is affected more by the monster level than anything else. Higher TIER waystones will give you more xp. The amount of modifiers on the waystone will affect item rarity, monster group size, and other things.
Tablets go on the bottom three slots, and the more dangerous the waystone, the more tablets can go in. The tablets can be upgraded with the blue currency items, don’t forget! Those are pretty self explanatory, and you’ll figure out how those work over time. My tip, use the “irradiated” precursor tablet for the first slot, every time. It adds a level to the map (tier 1 lvl 65 would become lvl 66), and is great for speeding up xp.
