Catalizing omens just make the type of slam more likely. +3 spell skills are so rare/low weight in affix pool that getting it is unrealistic. That's why people usually fracture x affix and then chaos spam it or start with a base already having it.

Quickest way to get +3 spell amulets is by gambling amulets at Ange i think, you can try get some there if you got spare cash

I don't think I've ever had a catalyzing omen ever hit what I wanted it to hit. Tried it like 20 times on amulets.

Pretty sure catalyzing work with greater exalt.. I hit double mana prefix like 3 times out of 20 while working on my new amulet.. there is a high chance not to hit which is why it's hard to confirm that it does. But it works with dextral/sinistral and previously with homogeneous so I don't see why catalyzing would be an exception my success rate getting cast speed with catalysts has been extremely low... I finally settled at t2 mana prefix t1 spirit (chaosed), t1 int +3 spells (fractured)and t2 crit% first desecrate suffix on a gold base.. was a huge upgrade over my previous which is why I settled after the t2 crit without omen of lights

Idk if its luck but i've gotten a few 2 attack modifiers on rings using catalyzing and greater exalted orb.
