I am level 80, I get melted by rare monster instantly at level 7 fully juiced up map. What can I do to improve? And how do you upgrade your shred skill to socket 5 support gems?
At what point can I build a temple? I am in standard league?

Shred/maul/rend skills are linked to character level, you get 5 sockets at lvl 90
If you are in standard league you don't yet have the temple because its seasonal league mechanic, will be available after 0.4 league will end and all fate of the vaal characters will get transfered to stamdard league

The best thing to do as a new player is find a guide on youtube for your build. I just started this season too and spent a long time asking spesific questions on reddit and watching youtube. As for your build, Make sure all your resistances are capped and you have high defensive stats. I think wolf builds go evasion, im not sure if they use energy shield or not. Evasion you want around 65 or 70%. Also make sure you are getting weapons that give +level to your skills.
You don’t juice your t7 maps, especially if you are getting one shot by rares.
