why does it more/less spirit then it's mentioned?

so i was just checking my spirt costs for each skill and found out that CoC is only taking 78 spirit while COEA is taking 100 and siphon elements is taking more then what's mentioned which is 36. any idea on why that's happening?

CoC has reservation efficiency in quality unlike CoEA.

As for Siphon Elements You probably have a support gem that "Increases cost and reservation" multiplier.

Did you know you can upgrade 19 gems to 20 even if it’s corrupted? Maybe you don’t want to because of mana but just thought I’d share.

Are you oracle by any chance and have you taken any nodes which would screw up your reservation efficiency?

The cost on the gem is the base cost. It's likely you have supports and reservation efficiency passives that modify the spirit cost
