Craft help!

I’ll never understand crafting in this game it’s so weird

as always it depends on how much currency you have. This can go from cheap and worthless to 3k-4k divs but absurdly expensive, so depends on where you're at may be better to sell as is. no 3 socket or 30% base is really going to hinder how much this thing will be worth, and thus how much it's worth putting inot it.

In this current state, you might need to add another prefix and whittle in to something. Check craft if exile for mod levels. You can ctrl+alt+c to copy the item and import to the site. Ideally, you try to add the highest level mods first working your way to the lowest so you can keep whittling mods in. Something like crit is usually lower than other mods and is sometimes the last mod to get added

Youve somewhat jumped the gun with that desecrate (hope it didn't cost you much!) because what you would do if aiming for all T1's is to whittle after you hit T1 %Phys. This is because T1 %Phys is iLvl 82 so the only competing mod (that'll make you choose between %phys and something else) is T1 Surpass Arrow when using a whittling.

So what you would do is whittle til T1 Hybrid Phys (iLvl 81) or T1 Surpass (82), then you'd slam another mod with Perfect Exalt and start whittling again until T1 Hybrid (if you got Surpass) phys or T1 Flat Phys (75). Then you get flat phys via the same method.

Then you'll have:

• T1 Phys % ilvl 82

• T1 Hybrid Phys ilvl 81

• T1 Flat Phys ilvl 75

• T1 Projectile (Fractured)

• T1 Surpass ilvl 82 (maybe)

At this point you will add a suffix and whittle until you hit Crit Chance T1 (ilvl 73). It gets even more expensive now though, as if you roll Life/Mana per enemy killed T1 (ilvl 77/78) the whittling Omen will now target T1 Flat Phys, because they are higher item level. If this happens, you have to use an Omen of Dextral Erasure AND Omen of Whittling.

The alternative is if you don't have Surpass, if you have 2 suffixes including your fracture you can use Omen of Dextral Crystalisation and Essence of Abyss to remove the none fractured suffix and Desecrate it, trying to unveil crit. If you miss, use a Dextral Crystalisation again with a perfect essence of Haste. This will remove the desecration, then you do the same thing again (Dextral crystal, essence of abyss, desecrate). This is much cheaper than omen of light.

If you don't want Surpass you'll have to figure out what you do want (attack speed is a ridiculously low ilvl 37 so it's risky to try and whittle into it).

That said this isn't an exceptional base, omens are very expensive and these mods are difficult to hit so it's up to you if it's worth the cost

The lowest budget option is to essence a gain damage prefix, essence onslaught, desecrate crit. That last step could be relatively cheap or extremely expensive, depending on luck.

The only way you will be able to guarantee crit is by using omens of whittling or dextral annulment (it's gonna be expensive either way). Like u/Lobsterzilla said, since the base isn't exceptional I wouldn't put too much into this personally. You could consider selling it or a cheaper craft (that won't guarantee crit chance).

Scalable cost crafting steps:

1. Perfect exalt slam three times (you can reduce your cost by using an omen of greater exaltation for one of the slams). You actually have a pretty good chance of hitting a decent final prefix since the only real bad option is pure accuracy which is only a 1200 / 10080 = ~12% chance. You can use omens of whittling to reroll your last prefux if you get a T2 or lower modifier you are unhappy with. If you whittle at this step use a perfect exalt + omen of sinistral exaltation as your first exalt slam.

You have a couple of options/states for the suffixes (these steps can be recursive up to your budget)

2a) You have two good suffixes. Congrats you are done.

2b) You have two bad suffixes. You can annul + omen of dextral annulment to remove one. Then use perfect omen of haste + essence of dextral crystallization to replace one of them with Onslaught. Finish the item by using as many whittles as you want to spend rerolling the final suffix. (I would personally do this if you end up with two bad suffixes instead of 2c especially if your final prefix isn't perfect).

2c) You have two bad suffixes. You can annul + omen of dextral annulment twice to remove both then perfect exalt slam to return to restart the suffix process completely.

2d) You have one good and one bad suffix. You can settle or you can go for the 50/50 with an omen of haste + essence of dextral crystallization. If you don't like the result, you can use omens of whittling/dextral annulment to try again.

2e) You have one good and one bad suffix. Use omens of whittling to reroll the bad suffix.

Since you already spent a fracturing orb on the bow I would plan to spend at least a few hundred div on omens of whittling.

Divine it a few times for better flat phys and therefor increased DPS. Then sell it as is for someone else to waste his currency.

Next time start with a 28%+ quality base and fractured crit chance if you want to yolo craft.

Suffix exalt anything. Omen essence into extra damage prefix. Suffix exalt anything. Suffix essence for onslaught. Perfect exalt last Suffix. That's really your only option that doesn't cost thousands of divs. When crafting end game bows in the 100-2000d range people start with fractured crit. For perfect end game bows the budget is like 10-50k divs. My suggestion finishes your craft in like 15d or less.
