If you're gonna go full ES chestpiece you really should get an ES helm and take Subterfuge Mask. It'll give you another 500 ES and more evasion that your current helm gives. Also, and this obviously isn't mandatory or anything, but I accidentally capped my chaos res this league and I'll never go back. If I don't have Chaos Inoculation, I'll try to cap my chaos res. It's much more comfy. Also remember that at some point, more damage doesn't matter much while mapping. If you're mostly doing maps, as long as you're clearing fast, getting more damage is just vanity and it's better to improve defences. I will say this, defenses are pretty dogshit in this game for the most part and in high end content most builds die fast if they get hit.

I would recommend to get that 10% Lightning res from A2, Spires. I want to suggest to get your Skillgems to lvl 21. Additionally a Combo of ES and Evasion is pretty strong. The missing Asc Points do contribute quite a bit.

That's the problem with evasion, eventually you'll get evasion and deflection check failed. I'd drop deflection and stack more ES. That way if evasion failed you still have large enough hit pool to not die.

this is generally what you'd want to read a guide for. There are plenty of tips and things you can learn in them, like using subterfuge mask with an energy shield helmet instead of using an evasion helm

You need the max Chaos res. You're taking like 80%more Chaos damage than you would be at full res.

You have a lot of leeching so get a soul tether belt or essentia sangua gloves so leech applies to energy shield. That will do wonders for survivability. If full health-full ES one shots are happening the only thing to do is stack more ES and life.

Evasion is shit in this game. You stack es to tank big hits, then screen clear to prevent small hits from mobs. Stacking evasion alone makes you die less often but still die.
