I tried to recreate this jewel I bought a while ago. I didn’t realize how hard it would be to make one.

I had something similar to this, but still working on it. Here are steps by steps for crafting:

Step 1: Find magic sapphire with magnitude of shock + before life

Step 2: Regal it and hope it land on either magnitude of ailment or mana regen/crit hit chance for spells. If not, repeat step 1.

Step 3: Assuming if you hit the 3 good stats, you just desec the third one of your choice

Step 4: Divine it to near perfect max stats

Step 5: Either you locket it or vaal slam yolo. GL

I made on with magnitude of ailment + shock + damage before life + crit chance and slams most of them. Never got a good 5th stats. All ended up in the trash bin.

Short story:

i bought this one for a couple thousand divines.

I thought to myself... "maybe i overpaid for this one when i could've just make one on my own".

And oh boi.. i was totally wrong...

I'm already 500+ div deep and still can't re-create something like this. I ended up failing every corruptions.

I haven't crafted that many jewels, but I don't feel like it's that expensive and difficult. What I did was:

Buy rare jewels with 1 desired suffix and frac that
Chaos spam for another mod
Slam exalt, if it doesn't hit what you want, annul and try again
Desecrate last mod, if that doesn't hit, annul and try again
Yolo vaal

It can get a bit tedious if you get unlucky, but all the steps after frac are cheap, and it's nowhere near as bad as chaos spamming amulets.

Just a head up, I'm currently playing pure mana stacker with archmage + orb of combos/thunderstorm combos on my stormweaver.

Having those shock/ailment magnitude + damage before life and extra crit chance is a huuuugeeee damage boost to my character.

I'm using staffs like t1 % gain lightning + % lightning damage + 7 light spell + (5% spell damage per 100 mana) with cast speed/mana regen, so i'm sitting on a butt-load of % spell damage at 7k+ mana.

Jewel like this just pumped my damage to the moon.
