Although I am new to ARPGs, I somehow managed to earn 1,830 Divine Orbs through basic currency arbitrage and by selling items I farmed using gear worth around 10 Divine Orbs in total. I have no idea what to do with them, but I want to use them. Is this enough to craft anything useful, or should I just buy gear instead?
Yes, you can craft pretty nice gear and give your build an overall upgrade. Can you share your build? It will help with upgrade suggestions.
Get a weapon and +skill upgrade pieces (amulet, gloves, helm or whatever is available for your build) for all of that if you have fixed resistances and and have good defense. Try to get max +skill upgrades.
Then get 2k-ish divs again. Start learning crafting if you want to, i would start by rings if so. If not upgrade your other pieces. I would start with a high defensive body armour and rings.
Also don’t expect to farm like this every league, though the item prices will be lower normally too (we are in a high inflation economy this league)

Just depends on your time and interest for crafting.
If you want to take the time to learn it, check youtube for videos like "craft easy ???" put boots rings armour or whatever (make sure to use 0.4 videos). Then play around in craftofexile and poe2db.
Or just buy stuff on the market. Crafting is a big layer you don't have to learn all the game in 1 league.
