How is everyone getting better gear? I'm in the end-game and I'm trying to get a better Talisman for my Druid. Other than buying one, I know RNG is a factor, but what are you doing? Any Normal Talisman Item drops, I do not pick up. Any Magic Talisman Items drops, I pick up, but they are all junk so I disenchant. The Rare Talisman item drops are not any better than what I already have. I've been using the same one since act 4. How are you getting a better one? Thanks.
crafting is the easiest way to get proper gear, if you dont want to just farm brainlessly and buy from the market.
Either buy or craft. First option is easier and overall cheaper.
Basically you'll NEVER loot an upgrade after you finish campaign and maybe some early maps. This is just how PoE is and always was. Trying to fish out good enough roll out of loot is near-impoissible task and a huge waste of time. This is why we have loot filters that hide up to 99% of all drops in the late game.
You can also always be checking shop or gambling doe items/ bases
If you are not ssf hit the / key and go shopping!
do yourself the favour and just buy one on the trade, you can get decent ones for little as 5 exalted.
Other than that have lootfilter and know what talismans you are looking for, pick up normal ones and slam a greater aug on it, and perfect aug if you hit good on your aug then take it from there with an essence or perfect regal.
Ground loot is truly garbage in this game, just trade.
Id rather sell the rares you dont want instead of disenchanting them and then gamble with Ange for upgrades. Regals shouldnt be an issue in late game anyway.
You pick up white Talisman and Perfect Trans/Aug, pick up high tier Magic, maybe you can get a good base for craft. Good base is T1/T2 %phys, then you can try essence craft and with some luck you can get a okayish weapon.
Find a temple you can leech than stay behind street they re drive and look for stuff
If you post a pob or ninja link we can see what your working with and then suggest a better one, if you’re not in ssf then buying an upgrade shouldn’t be too difficult
