One option I've heard mentioned is going to sound settings and turning sound channels down to Low. I guess sometimes it's trying to play hundreds of sounds at the same time and it bogs down your CPU and causes stuttering.

This will cause sound effects to not be played sometimes though. Might help, good luck!

I have had this same for days. Idk how to fix either. Good luck.

Try setting sound channels to Minimum.

Check your cooling. Your cpu might be throttling to conserve itself. It’ll slow literally all processing. I had same issue fixed my cooling and it runs smooth now.

Try typing into chat /clear or join an empty trade global chat /global 24567 /trade 24567.

May not fix it but for many it does, anytime somebody messages in chat for some it spikes your ping.

The one thing that helped me with a lot of problems in poe2 and poe1 was reducing max power CPU is getting to 99% in advanced settings of your current power plan in windows. I was sceptical at first but when i changed it all of my problems with stuttering, overheating was gone.

EDIT: forgot to mention im on Ryzen CPU so maybe its not a case with Intel but nothing hurts to try :)

I feel like this game has crazy network stuttering. I've tried everything thinking it was my pc but I'm pretty confident it's just network bs

I.also tried many things every setting and so on. My hardware is really so good that was not the problem. What helped me believe it or not was the Programm exit lag it really worked wonders for me.

off some cores in the task manager( if you have like 16- off up to 10) , and lock up fps to 100-120 in game settings

I had the same problem, I tried everything I could, but couldn't solve it. Then I bought a controller, maybe it's silly, but it's as if a completely different game version, the user interface is better designed, the whole game seems more polished, and since then I haven't had any problems, everything works smoothly. 🤷‍♂️
