How do you imagine the temple to work like next league in 0.5?
It can be assumed that the temple won't go core without some changes. At least I would be surprised to see them add it as is, considering how profitable it is compared to any other league mechanic.
How do you think will it work then in 0.5?
- Like PoE1 Harvest where you get presented a random pre-set temple each time?
- Restricted medallion locks, making it much more difficult / impossible to actually build permanent temples?
- Hard cap on multipliers? (this way they could allow you to build the temple freely however you want without becoming broken loot-wise, since reaching the cap and adding more rooms then just means a larger area)
Personally, I like the progression of building something over the course of a league that permanently becomes visibly bigger and better. So just pure randomness and no way to deterministically prevent decay would remove the fun part of that mechanic gameplay itself, even ignoring the loot itself. A hard cap/ceiling (i.e. a change that only affects the loot and not the mechanic itself) would be the least destructive implementation for me.
