Neither of these bases are worth going all in on imo. Just kalandra's touch if you want a duplicate ring, or spend your currency crafting on a better base.

Use a Kalandra’s Touch

Whittle the t4. Catalyst the prefix you want. Slam perfect exalt and pray or whittle then find out if that has a desecration tag then pick which omen it is to desecrate that tag and use a re roll omen at the well of souls Anyone correct me please

Catalyst Chaos resist; if you get Chaos, great (if you don't need Chaos, try Speed for cast rate). If you get a shitty mod, Try again with Catalyst or use the recombinator trick to switch the mana prefixes and remove the catalyst mod that misfired. then..try again.

When you get it (chaos resist or fast cast), desecrate the last suffix for whatever you need. I typically might do Chaos + Cold for the quadruple dip on Tul's Catalyst.
