I’m not going to say what the item is but i accidentally put an item up for sale for 1000 divs even tho its worth 2 mirrors… now im nervously waiting for the ability to change the price but its been a handful of minutes

If it's a unique item that is so way below then there is a good chance of it getting sold I think before you can swap.
The best thing would have been to ask a friend to buy it for you in your HO… Too late. If this happens to you, invite a friend to your game and have them go to your HO (no need to go through the website).
Your best bet in situations like this is to get someone from global chat to come buy it before it gets listed on the market. I've saved some people that way. Of course very likely they just don't trade you back but it's worth a shot.
Stuff like this is why I avoid trade. I play at my own pace and suffer the consequences of not trading. As long as I have solid defenses I'm perfectly fine being slow.
