Can anyone confirm if they've encountered this abyssal void bug or if it even is a bug? Rares still take damage and die in the void even when you are away from the void.

I was under the assumption that rares cannot be damaged while you are outside of the abyssal void but I've experienced this countless times.

I originally assumed that maybe it was due to a weird interaction with Herald of Blood causing chain explosions to the surrounding enemies which still somehow affected the rare inside the void. But apparently they just die sometimes.

I have this bug where I haven't seen an abyssal in ages and the tablet never ever drop for me. So no I didn't see your particular bug.

Only the abyssal rare that casts the void is immune to damage whilst in it and you are not; if you lure it out and kill it while the void is still present there is a great chance it will drop omen of light & or omen of abyssal echoes
