How do I plan for or continue this craft?

Guys, I think I need a bit of help with this craft.

I lucked out and dropped an exceptional focus base. I transmuted and augmented, and lucked out agian on the +2 lvl. I deserated to facture the +2 and hit. After that i used a couple of ribs, didnt hit +totem. I stopped, chaos orbed and hit cast speed and that t4 crab. I stopped cause i was like, not sure if im gonna hit anything good if i continue. I desecrate and hit +totem.

Now im sitting here thinking that I might have to start the craft all over. I was thinking i could farm one perfect exaclt and use exaltation and the craft would be done. After reflecting a bit on that it hit me, that i kinda have to get rid of that t4 before doing anything. But if i get rid of that, i might lose the +totem which means i have to find some more ribs.

Im also like, yeah I really like the cast speed, but %chaos dmg would overall be better, even tho totems are doing the hard work (homebrew ES/C/totem build).

So uhm, not quite sure what to do. What are your thoughts?
