I hit a really good sanctify on my first staff that was +7 cold skills but with gg damage mods, so I kept that and have it up for sale. I then recrafted the staff with the exact method as the first, used 4 hinekora locks with sanctify omen, this was the result on the 4th. I am free. Amazing league!

Would love to see your build! I independently built a Frostbolt CoC build. I made the "mistake" of saying I think it clearly outperformed Doedre's. The comments I received were not nice. Like I told an Elvis joke in Memphis.

This is my first season ever and haven’t gotten an answer for this, but is having the increased cold damage better than having an additional “gain +whatever amount of fire/lightning damage”?

I’m mainly running fire in my build. Had 2 really good late game staffs, they were identical to yours except stat tiers were lower. One had 2 additional spots of extra damage, the other had 1 additional and 1 as extra fire damage. The extra fire showed a bit more DPS on the tool tip.

Is this just a situational thing?

I have the same question about my lightning staff. I have extra cold but wonder if I should have pushed for + lightning instead.
