PoE2 Filter v1.1: Auto Economy Updates, Custom Tiers, HC Economy, Temple Preset
I'm excited to announce v1.1 of poe2filter.com, which adds auto-economy updates, support for all the game's economies (such as Hardcore), custom thresholds for Currency & Unique tiers, a new ultra-strict 'Temple' preset, and more!
With Auto-economy Updates updates, the tool now automatically fetches the latest Currency (every hour) and Unique (every day) prices, updates your currently active filter, and presents you with an overview of all changes since your last visit. If you're logged in with your pathofexile.com account, we'll even automatically synchronize your active filter to your account!
Another much requested feature we added is Custom Tiering Mode. You can now choose your own cutoff values for each of the different Currency and Uniques tiers; and pick your base currency, e.g. 'Everything worth ≥ 1 divine'.
We now support all of the game's economies: League, HC League, Standard and HC. And SSF players who don't care about the latest economy data can still choose the Fixed (SSF) economy -- now along with a (Early/Mid/Late/Temple) Tiering Mode.
Better late than never, we added a new ultra strict 'Temple' preset, showing almost no gear, and only the most valuable uniques & currency. You can easily switch between showing or hiding Chaos-tier currency. These filters allow you to run or leech even the most beefy temples off-the-shelf!
Finally, we moved from our 'hobby-tier' host to Cloudflare, which should be faster and more stable. It also enables more backend logic in future updates.
What's next
I'm currently still using poe2scout as the source of currency values. This is starting to reach its limits. I've already requested access to GGG's ingame currency exchange API, which should allow me to further improve and stabilize the currency valuation. Aside from that, I hope to add automatic economy updates for Base Types as soon as possible too. However, we'll soon be shifting our attention over to PoE1 -- we still need to port all these features over, in time for 3.28!
Of course, all of this is very fresh and will undoubtedly require a lot of fixing & balancing in the upcoming days. All feedback, issues and suggestions are very welcome, here and on our Discord!
