Varashta/werewolf/companion theorycraft help

First off, i am not looking for a meta build, just something fun to play while still being viable when i get to end game.

I am mixing the synergies btwn cold attacks from werewolf, companion (pounce/pack/hyenas), cold spectres, and navira fracture. I recently got high enough level to equip both hysseg talisman and yriel chest, but I took a big hit on my survivability as a result. I know I can go for Trusted Kinship, but its so far away, and I already spent points going for Lord of the Wilds to use scepter on offhand with hysseg.

Should I stick to yriel or go for trusted kinship? For either option any tips on best to improve my defenses would be appreciated, thanks!
