I only played POE2 so I don’t have any idea if this is already a thing but it would be cool if we could get something from the current league like cosmetics that can be used to the next league.
Maybe an achievement from killing a very difficult boss or exchanging item worth 10 mirrors or something. At least, this could add more satisfaction and maybe an additional goal in doing leagues.
We do have league-challenges in PoE1 that rewards you with cosmetics. Pretty sure this will also be in PoE2 as soon as the game is released

In PoE 1 each league has 40 challenges to complete with an MTX rewards for how many you complete.
Might come eventually, it's not about killing bosses but last league when I tried Poe1 they had a season pass which rewarded a cosmetic outfit that you can also use on poe2. Heard from a buddy they had something you could exchange an mirror with before aswell for a cosmetic mirror effect around you but dunno if that's still available.
Feel like if they add something locked behind killing Uber/pinnacle bosses would just open up for backlash from people with fomo that won't be able to do them.
