Your experience as a fairy?

My usual recommendation for beginners is: just play the game. Sure you can watch hours of tutorials explaining every aspect of the game. But at the end of the day the investment to understand mechanics to a point you will master them is so massive that you will probably drop the game before that and, sure knowing perfectly a mechanic will enable huge profit, but it is really worth to watch 100h of contents for that.

It's just a game so enjoy your time, if you like a mechanic then read the wiki on that or search for more info. If you're dead lost on something watch a vid or the wiki for this thing (and even without doing so, you can still do the mechanic without understanding it, I know someone who randomly clic on betrayal encounters on PoE1 but still make mageblood every seasons so do not worry)

Hey, look. At least You didn't have to reroll because Your build (plants) was so performance heavy it kept crashing the game! I count that as a win.

As a very experienced POE player, I'll give you the same explanation I give my friends when they start playing either POE or POE2 - Take ONE of those things and explore it. When you think you understand it well enough (this could take an entire season) then go explore something new. Eventually you'll have enough knowledge to do some of these multi-faceted strategies.

Just try to do the quest the game has given, you'll see what kind of content they are. The quest already separate by mechanics and the reward for doing them are all different.

After that you research more on the mechanic you like to do. It would give you a better understanding one by one instead of taking everything at once.

This game has no crafting as such.

It has chained gambling.

I'm serious.

Haven't played in many major patches, but part of me wants to learn how to master crafting in this game but it's too deep and too many frequent league changes for me to invest back in the time. Just living vicariously through the redditors who know it all

You google a pinnacle boss, look up his drops and see if it any had a good market value.

Been farming zarokh the temporal just to get the fire relic because it's worth 3 mirrors. But along the way it does drop alliance vase which is worth 40 div.

it is worth it in the end tho. (only talking about poe1 ofc, there is no endgame in poe2 yet)
