How To min/Max this craft

To min/max you need to choose another base. Golden or solar amulet

Without knowing wether you are SSF or not and your current wealth, very difficult/intricate to answer.

If you can trade, selling it as is is the most sure-fire way of getting some starting wealth

Are you SSF?

Because if not you should sell it

Unless you know the top method don't craft it yourself

I’d add a prefix with a paug hoping for spirit or es. Then I’d add greater essence of opulence to make it rare and t1 rarity suffix. If prefix is good, I’d desecrate a suffix and leave unrevealed then fracture If prefix from Aug was good, if not, sinister crystal for global def. Then I’d add a caster or defense catalyst and do another prefix. Then reveal desecration for cast speed or crit. If +3 fractures then you can either anul down to 1 mod and roll for spirit or crit or you can remove the rarity and try and add cast speed with caster catalyst and then desecrate for crit. If it doesn’t fracture I would not risk it at all or you burn your craft

2 Perfect exalt suffix, desecrate, maybe fracture and hope for the best, if it hits not spell skill then work on the prefixes and lock it to check for a +4, win gg

I am a crafting noob, so there is certainly someone with deeper understanding.

First step would be to fracture the +3. But you need to add two more modifiers and then add a desecration since the fracture requires 4 modifiers - the desecration improves your chance to hit the +3 as it cannot be fractured but in case you don't hit it it's basically bricked and you need to start all over.

In general I think the best min-max strat for crafting an amulet (given unlimited currency) is this.:

1. Perf aug/annul spam to hit +50 spirit/+3 spells. Ideally you want Spirit (if you intend to fracture it). Fracturing +3 spells means you can't sanctify for +4 spells later.
2. Perf Regal to get 3rd affix
3. Desecrate (up to you, but I like doing suffix for crit chance. DONT REVEAL YET) and fracture. Make sure you divine for max Spirit roll before fracturing. Fracturing with a hidden desecrated mod means its 1/3 chance to fracture your intended mod instead of 1/4
4. Ideally you fracture 50 spirit
5. If you hit your fracture successfully, next step is to make sure you get +3 spells (if you don't already have it). Annul down to the fractured mod and then chaos spam (this can take a while)
6. Once you have +3 spells and +50 spirit (fractured) you can use Mana (Neural) Catalysts and Omen of Catalyzing Exaltation + Prefix Exalt Omen to get mana in prefix, and Caster (Sibilant) Catalyst + Omen of Catalyzing Exaltation + Suffix Exalt Omen to get cast speed suffix. These steps are up to you, you can try to roll whatever you want in these slots but mana/cast speed are probably best in slot for spell builds. Blood mage might want life instead.
7. At some point use your desecrate, I like to save it until I've hit 5 good affixes first, or if I hit a bad one, I can try to reroll it. Usually I like to go for Crit Chance in suffix since you can't target it with a catalyst
8. If you miss on your desecration, Omen of Light + Annul until you get what you want
9. At this point if you have a bad affix you're stuck using expensive Ritual omens (whittle, dextral/sinestral annul, dextral/sinestral erasure).
10. Instil the amulet with a passive (I think the meta skill is Fast Metabolism this season)
11. Sanctify to hit +4 all spell skills
12. Profit

Throw this away and get a rarity or spirit implicit base

Throw perfect exalted at it. Be disappointed with the result....

Then desecrate it and get awesome rolls using omens!

Then get greedy! Corrupt that bastard after bringing it's quality to 20! And you are lucky! It worked out and all stars match the quality!

Now in a blind Mania corrupt it again! 

Now you're inventory is empty again. Time to get back to grinding!

Sanctify it immediately
