F U Whittle

Boredom craft until i realised i was 60 whittles deep and still no crit chance. Cleared me out before i knew it. Always had crap luck with the RNG of this kind of stuff but the previous crafts didnt hit this hard : /

Thats why it is good to fracture critchance. In your situation i usually settle on T2/T1 critchance or critbonus whatever comes first.

I usually frac crit or spell dmg

Block mana on desecration

Whitt spam for extra dmg and speed

Finish with desecration for + lvl

Also:

I spent 110 whittlings in a wand for t1 crit :(

Oh yea? Well I hit crit chance before cast speed, and then mana regen. So HA!

Wait. Mines worthless too. Damnit.

My method for this craft would have been

  • Fracture +levels
  • Annul down to 1 mod
  • Chaos spam for crit chance
  • Desecrate mana for the block
  • Double prefix perfect exalt for damages
  • If not double t1 Yolo annul/ start over
  • Omen of light off mana
  • Prefix perfect exalt and pray for t1 damage
  • Yolo annul / start over until 3 t1 damages
  • Desecrate last suffix for cast speed.

Probably a bit more economical as it leaves out the wittles, but probably takes a few goes at it to hit all t1

You didn’t hit a single crit chance or you wouldn’t accept the crit chances you did hit? Hunting t1 anything can easily burn through some whittles. Also, crit chances weight is about half of cast speed, I tend to whittle for that then desecrate for the crit chance I can get. Usually takes about 10 light omens with preserved to get t2+

This is why you desecrate last sir!

Exact same thing bankrupted me. I’m well over 100 whittles on the same staff. I have a 77 room temple so it’s easy to get more but it’s just meh at this point. I’ve finished like 4 or 5 of them and they all sold for close to a mirror but at this point I don’t know if it would sell anymore
