Why the hell can I not run the highlighted node???

Because you dont have map connected to it, those maps on side of the cleansed map are connected to each other, not the cleansed one. This is rare to happend but I've seen it few times this league toi

It's a long standing, well known 5 connection bug. Even some 4 point maps bug out on me.

its a visual glitch that has been there since at least .3.... be mindful of any node that has 5 lines going to or from it.... only 4 will be active and the fifth is a lie.....

I have a overrun abyss map without connections. The atlas is so bugged

Maps can only have 4 connection points - that one has 5 - so its fucking it up. Run it from another map direction possibly.

Try running the blue one in the upper right of the picture, I’ve had nodes with paths running underneath them that look legit
