I wouldn’t restart. The start of your temple is fine, even if it’s not minmaxed. I would keep the left side chain and start using Russian tech from where you are now. But first, before killing off the right hand side try to get your architect in position (best is three spaces below Atziri, just above where your Smithy is). Build out from the right side where your top armoury is so that the architect is less likely to move into that quadrant. Keep the middle lane where it is but let the smithy die. If done correctly then the architect should move to the position I mentioned. Once he’s there you can let the right chain die and keep building the left chain, beginning Russian tech from where you are now.
