Current State? Worth coming back or wait for full release?

Hey gang!

So I was playing early access when it first came out and stopped about 3-4 months in. Then picked it up again over the summer then stopped again since about September. Wanted to know how is it currently and is it worth starting fresh?

Keep in mind I didn't get very far I had a real tough time with all the issues it was known for early on (bad loot drops, super slow or laggy servers, difficulty was crazy for some yes that includes me) and so on.

I have pretty much ignored it completely so not even sure what the current state is, have they fixed alot of the issues players had, is it an overall better experience now etc.?

Thoughts?!

there is definitely loot, but you have to follow a temple guide, there probably wont ever be this level of loot dropping for a long time. cant say for servers but wasnt really lagging when i played at the start. they did improve the early game with guaranteed drops in campaign so its not as difficult. i would say its worth playing for the loot if you like playing arpgs for the loot.

way different than season 1/2, and upcoming season 5 will supposedly have more changes to endgame as well.

I'd wait until 0.5.

While the game has changed a good bit, the end game still isn't in the state it should be to retain players longer.

That being said, this league is still enjoyable and there's plenty of time left to dip your toes into some of the stuff they've added.

I’d say go for it, I really like act 4, I found building a temple to be a pretty fun mechanic, once you get it built out can drop nice loot, but requires a decent amount of reading up on, time, etc
