Minion Build question about elemental ailments

I have noticed a lot of build guides and YouTubers guides seem to focus on Shock as an endgame ailment and also reference having at least one source of cold damage as a “Frost Bot” (which I assume means just a way to add this status ailment to the mix

My question is this: WHY?

Is there something inherent about Shick ailment or having a Frost Bot that is important?

I’ve been trying to ask this question on the guides and such and no one has responded

Shock makes enemies take more damage. Even at base, a 20% shock means that they take 20% more damage. Its a really easy damage multiplier.

Shock makes the enemy take 20% more damage, so if you have a way to apply it theres easy damage. Idk about cold, build might rely on chill or explosions from Herald of ice so need a way to proc it. Depends on the build.

helps kill bosses a lot faster, nothing else is alive long enough to get shocked for me though
