I need your help here. I built a completely improvised temple. Any idea why I can't add a Golem here using the russian tech ?

I think you need to do a roman road for that specific spot to make it easier. Im not 100% but i think it has to do with the armoury in that corner being connected to 2 smithy already. It made connected a golem not possible for whatever reason.
It'll work in game, simulator isn't 100% accurate. As long as you have a Smithy without a connected Golem Works, you can connect a Golem Works to it.
You have to destabilize the smithy left below the corner golem then place it again after you place the new golem
