Talisman Crafting Help!

Starting with an ilvl 81 Maji talisman with +7 to melee skills. How should I proceed? Augment + essence/regal, desecrate and then fracture hoping to hit the melee skills? I'm pretty new to crafting and don't want to mess it up.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!
