Extra physical damage on Talisman or not?

If the build scale with physical or need amour explosion I'd use gain extra physical. Otherwise hybrid is more flexible.

I personally run extra phys on mine, it opens up a lot of leech options for survivability. You can run Sanguis Essentia gloves or Soul Tether belt and become nearly immortal (with Fast Metabolism annointed on your amulet).

They are both good, but some builds need the extra as phys if you rely on it for mana or life leech. For instance if you use walking calamity (all fire) mostly and need it to leech mana you might need the extra as phys.

Extra phys for leech sounds pretty good to me if you're otherwise all elemental.

semi irrelavant but I use extra cold and it does more damage than extra phys and flat phys (unless mirror tier). If you have high enough DPS and take dangerous blossom (10% extra phys) you'll be triggering armour explosion anyways. I was consistently getting endurance charge which is how I know the armour explosion is working. Yes the leech will be less compared to if you get extra phys but if you're one shotting mobs you'll sustain from life on kill anyways.

Maybe I'm missing something here since everyone either goes extra phys or flat phys but I tested this on POB when i was looking for weapons and settled with extra cold.
