Im lvl 82 and my friend is lvl 76. we do maps together, and whenever im on his map I dont get any energized crystals and when hes on my map he does.
Seems weird or unfair to me. Is this a bug or an intended mechanic?

Nope, if he is doing a map that will give 2 crystals you will get one or none and if it’s a 3crystal could get 0-2.
From what Iv heard. I have bad luck so run my maps solo or friends chilling and do my charges then we go to there maps.
This is probably an attempt to stop people from speed running charges for others. Imagine it someone with temporalis doing charging service. Lol
