Those GPU spikes are making me go crazy with this game...

The game is still playable, but it happens randomly and is ruining my experience. This doesn't happen in any other game; the temperatures are perfect as always.

I have over 100 hours of gameplay, This started happening on February 26th after an update, and it has been happening frequently ever since.

My specs: Asus Prime H610M-E D4 i5 12400f 32gb Galax RTX 4060 8GB

I know my setup isn't the best, but I've never had a problem with any game and this only started happening recently, so I refuse to believe the problem is with my PC and not the game.

If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it. Sorry for any grammatical errors, English is not my native language.

Hey I had the same problem on my 3080, the game doesn’t use multithreads or something there was a post about it, the fix it super easy you add 1 to launch on steam and it totally fixed it for me. Lemme find the post

  1. Check your graphics driver.
  2. Make sure your video card is in slot 1
  3. Make sure your power supply is actually giving enough power

Are you using any overlays like awakening poe trade or any similar program? If yes than disable V-sync ingame and in the settings from your display

Believe it or not, its the VRAM. Had the same issue until I upgraded to a 16 gb. This game is intense on the GPU.

Had the same problem. 3070 8gb. So I lowered usage of vram and now everything ok. 8gb is not the best idea for Poe 2.

It's basically on PS5 too. Makes it unplayable in some parts.
