So I’m basically brand new to the game and fully expect that I’m missing something obvious, but every time I swap the equipped armor for the other, both my staff and my helmet show the “you can’t use this, stats will be ignored message”.
As far as I can tell the staff just needs 74 Int and neither piece of armor affect that. Can someone explain what’s going on?
Swapping the armor might affect one of the other pieces of gear that gives you int. Easy way to test, remove your armor and see if any of your other gear pieces turn red.
Does your helmet give you int?
Check the weapon's stat requirements. I'd bet that you're going under the stats in one way or another when you change your chest armor out. You can fix this by getting one that had the same boost as the one you're trying to swap out or respeccing to raise the stat that is going lower than the weapon requirement
