Sick and tired of re-equipping HH in temple? Here's a workaround:

all temple fans know the situation where a golemworks or a smithy monster doesn't activate because you have some buff from the Headhunter belt that makes you invisible to them.

the solution is simple: summon something that's not invisible for the monsters to activate.

I have a second weapon set for crystal farm which I don't use for fighting so I equipped the Wolfpack spirit gem for the second set. if a monster doesn't activate, I swap sets and summon the wolves for a second before swapping back and the wolves activate the "sleeping" monster.

you can use any minion for this to work. if you don't have the spirit to spare, but have an empty skillslot, you can use one of the witch skills where you summon zombies from dead monsters.

I haven't tested it but skills which summon walls that the enemies can attack like bone walls, might also do the trick.

tldr: summon minions or something the inactive monster can attack!

Frost wall also works. For some reason, they see that as an enemy and wake up to attack it.

Something people don't know is that those mobs are usually connected to another mob(s), I think as a minion or they have minions? And sometimes you can hit mobs in the other room that will aggro them and wake them up. Sometimes the mob(s) they're linked to though are in a closed off room inside so it doesn't work.

Can you not right click the hh buff (or any buff) to remove it? That's how it works in poe1, never tried it in poe2

wait..... is THAT what is causing them to not wake up? thats why i have to wait a min for golems to wake up? wtf? also ive seen this in 6 man groups when not everyone is using a HH so how does that work?

Frost wall with fortress support is easier and you don’t have to swap weapon set spirit gems for it
