Hey guys!

https://mobalytics.gg/poe-2/profile/kalltorak/builds/doomfletch-ritualist

Doomfletch is a unique bow that on paper doesn't look very good! It has really low dps, no bonus gem levels, and it's a low level bow! Doomfletch has the interesting modifier of Attacks with this weapon gain 100% of physical damage as extra damage of ALL elements. That means if you do 100 physical damage with Doomfletch, you will also deal 100 lighting, 100 fire, and 100 cold damage. This can corrupt up to over 120% damage leading to your physical damage dealing lots of extra elemental damage!

Doomfletch has a super low physical damage of 30 to 50 physical damage. This is awful, even with added physical damage to attack rolls on all your rings and gloves you can only scale this so high. That is where Bursting Decay comes in! Bursting Decay adds 3% of your maximum life to your attacks as physical damage! We are playing ritualist for 3 rings and yes every ring slot is for Bursting Decay. So we now have a way to scale Doomfletch, we just need to scale our life! By getting a ring with 4% of life to physical damage and Mystic Attunement this actually increases the ring to 5% of life as physical damage. From here its just about getting our life as high as possible!

Yes, no resistances from Veil of the Night is scary, but we have worked around that! By stacking Defiance of Destiny and Sacrifice of Flesh keystone from Undying Hate (amanamu) you are pretty hard to kill! This damage loss prevention is so good you can survive some of the hardest hitting elemental attacks in the game. This build is a lot tankier than the EHP on PoE ninja shows. Kaom's Heart comes with the massive downside of NO SPIRIT!!! We are using an attack build so how do we deal with clear without heralds? That is where Spiral Volley comes in. Spiral Volley when combined with frenzy charges greatly increases our clear and damage. Frenzy charges make spiral volley chain so all AoE is very easily taken care of. We automate frenzy charges by using a Flesh Crucible for Resonance and putting Armour Break III in Spiral Volley. This allows for brain off frenzy charge generation and Spiral Volley is able to handle all clear without heralds.

This is a really weird build with a lot more going on. It is hard to judge the cost of a build in this league but it is expensive and probably not league start friendly.

Cheers!

Sick build! I also tried to do a doomfletch build this league, but I was not aware of the existence of this ring, which is a game changer lmao.

The way I got my dmg was by using the "the lethal draw" unique quiver and stacking life flasks, so I used the bloodmage ascendancy with the life flask node, which also allowed me to use concoct with the bleeding node because I used 2 life flasks with waistgate(that was before I learned you can unequip the belt and still get pretty much all benefits).

Now knowing I can also lifestack as a bloodmage, I will definitely try to play this next league it really looks like it has a lot of potential.

Just realized Doomfletch doesn’t get extra damage from any converted physical damage, which explains your skill choices. That’s a huge bummer.

Nice build! I wanted to try the ring out in 0.3 but unfortunately it wasn't able to drop for the first month or so. Good to know the juice is worth the squeeze for having to mitigate the steep downside. I'm hoping that GGG makes it a bit more common next league, since it really doesn't need to be costing a mirror when it has such a steep build cost.

Since you're using Defiance of Destiny, it seems like you could use cultivated Coward's Legacy for 3% life regen on low life and allocate Desperate Times for another 1.5%. You'd hover around 75% max life as your regen turned on and off, but if I understand DoD correctly, you'd always heal to full before you take a hit. It might be cheaper than the abyss belt + socketable.

I kinda want to try the build with Nebuloch since it's another weapon with very low base damage and a strong upside. Also, it has the same basically the same downside as Bursting Decay, so the build would already be working to mitigate that. For the shield, Rise of the Phoenix could be pretty good if using Coward's Legacy since it would be another 6% life regen. Pain Attunement is also on the table with some life cost. Of course then you'd have to use mace skills rather than bow skills.

calling it the best bow build is so cringe.

Your snipe on Zarokh does less than a single Ice shot from a normal build (no adorned even) against Xesht / Uber Arb.

Another awesome build that I won't be playing. Love problem solving with the degen going on here.

How does he have FOUR ring slots? Also those rings are expensive as hell.

Cool build idea. Definitely has me thinking about other ways to riff off some of the components.

I decided to try stacking energy shield - at minimum level.

I got bored at this stage in the league and decided to spend many of my hard earned divines on a small project. Wouldn't it be funny to stack Energy shield for a min-level char? [https://poe.ninja/poe2/pob/1a027](https://poe.ninja/poe2/pob/1a027) Tabula rasa has relevant jewel mods noted on it in POB so the math actually works out since it doesn't seem to work properly in POB. second screenshot is with a lvl 29 discipline aura with 36% increased aura magnitude - I didn't wanna spend another several thousand divines on a support character, I just wanted to see how well it would work theoretically >3000 ES without aurabot is possible, however, its basically impossible in practice. As of now, there are \*18\* 2 socket uncorrupted crown of thorns left on trade - on average it takes \~11 to hit a 30% and then another 1 in 3 to get a 3 socket one. Hitting a double corrupt on said 3 socket would be better then my current one, but that's not plausible sadly. Same for the boots. Hitting a better double corrupt on the gloves and focus would likely be plausible, but I couldn't buy more bases from Finn. Grip of Kulemak 59% ES \*should\* be possible, but it already took me over 40 attempts to hit 57% so I think I'll just leave it as is. Belt I didn't find any other way besides the 25% corrupt to get ES without a level requirement - if anyone has any idea tell me. Amulet could sanctify for 19/19 but again, would require silly amounts of currency (each try is \~30 div as is with annoint + sanctify + quality). I \*think\* patient barrier should be best annoint, but correct me if I'm wrong. Total investment into this character so far is about 3000 divines, probably a bit more. further thoughts \- maximum technically possible is 3112 ES at level 2 unless I'm missing something important. POB [https://poe.ninja/poe2/pob/1a02a](https://poe.ninja/poe2/pob/1a02a) \- doubting this but: is it possible to get an ascendency at this low level by skipping straight to geonor with a helper? In which case it might be possible that xp penalties kicking it would allow me to ascend at lvl 2? This would allow +20% +20% (ascendency) +60% (jewel) ES, which would get me to 3218 ES (actual build) / 3732 ES (max technically possible) Did I miss anything?

Rakiata who?

Rakiata who?

I made an elemental crossbow varashta sorc this season as my starting build (goal was to exploit yoke of suffering's full potential, you can find poe ninja below, don't be fooled by the dmg tooltip, it kill ubers before they can move) and so since I was in the intel side of the tree I used my weapon swap to maximize exposure (with whispering ice) and curse magnitude. Here with some non-optimized gear I'm reaching a total of -338% res (that's -169% on bosses), meaning it's better than rakiata's. I use cursed ground support to apply the curse and icestorm (which comes with the staff) with prolonged duration and potent exposure to make the exposure last longer. This tech doesn't require much investment apart from your weapon swap and a few sockets at most so it can be plugged into many elemental builds. As it is now, it requires you to cast the spells with your weapon swap, so I use it mostly for bosses, but i might cast icestorm on bulky rares in juiced maps once in a while. If you have a skill dedicated for mapping, it'll propably better to use rakiata on it, and remove it or use another skill for bosses. Here's the poeninja: [https://poe.ninja/poe2/profile/McZaatar-0907/character/Dendjala](https://poe.ninja/poe2/profile/McZaatar-0907/character/Dendjala) I might make a build showcase if people are interested, it's a fun league starter build. With yoke and the electrocution node on the tree, enemies have 120% damage taken, more if they're cursed, on top of the giant res drop, plus you benefit from a lot of the "damage against enemies with ailments nodes" so that's why the tooltip is low (explosive grenades indicate 60k in game but they hit bosses for like 2M) at first I was playing with permafrost bolt with frost nexus + navira's fracture + fragmentation rounds, it was a fun combo and really strong for leveling but I couldn't scale navira's fracture damage in late game (I had command + minion nodes on my second weapon instead of the curse/exposure at the time) Hope this inspires some of you!
