Is it possible to enjoy this game when I am not obssessed with min/maxing my char

Hello guys, casual player here.

I've played every major patch from the game debut, but I usually just finish the campaign and quit the game.

And I am wondering if this game is even for me, because I have no idea what to do in the endgame. I have no drive to make my char super strong, and to be honest I kinda don't know how. That's why I usually quit after reaching maps, because I don't know how to progress from there.

Can anyone please give me some tips how I can enjoy the endgame more when I reach it? On which should I focus on?

even without min-maxing you can play through T15 maps as long as you have your resistances on 75% kinda easy

I think poe2 at this stage is the most casual friendly version of PoE. Bosses can be beat without min/maxing anything if you are good with mechanics

Solo Self Found may be for you in this case. If you’re not bothered about grinding Ubers and t16’s, there’s something quite peaceful about the slower, more methodical jaunt up the map tiers imo.

It’s a tricky on with resist gear sometimes, but if you have a decent build going, you should definitely get some enjoyment out of conquering that next tier.

Pretty much. Prob not oneshoting the whole screen like some youtubers but otherwise pretty enjoyable experience.

You can play multiple chars and experiment with non-meta builds. If you don't need to clear every content at full speed then you have quite a leeway with what skills and items you can use. Consider campaign and early maps your main gameplay loop. The moment you can comfortably run T15 just quit your current char and create a new one. Also feel free to try SSF, cause I think it's perfect for this kind of chill gaming.

Try watching a couple guides for beginners from some of the big time players. They will help tremendously. I can’t tell you if this game is for you or not. Only you can make that call.

If you don't enjoy the search for better and better gear, then perhaps such games aren't for you (not just PoE2 but most arpg). That's the main goal - search better gear to kill/kill faster increasingly stronger mobs/bosses.

Honestly, im not in love with the endgame. I like playing through the campaign from patch to patch, if they add significant changes look at getting to t15s. The game is imo quite good for both casual play and competitive pushing at this early stage.

The game can be for you even if the Atlas is not for you.

It's going to take you a while to explore all the classes, weapons, ascendancies, gems... that PoE2 has to offer !

P.S.: Especially since, as the devs said themselves, the Atlas in its current state is extremely underbaked.
