Does incinerate only work on monsters covered in oil or can it ignite the ground if oil is on it?
I ask for maps where the monsters have increased ailment threshold. Had to run the whole map with flash grenade and oil grenade hits as incinerate wouldn't ignite anything.
I'm pretty sure it ignites the oil. It's one of the current broken interactions making ignite really strong. (Disabled for their race)
I built a wh to cheese this mechanic until they nerf it into the ground next patch. Incinerate will not ignite ground oil, it has to catch from a mob. Some mobs like super juicy abyss bois will never ignite.
You need to ignite a monster first and then spread that ignite with oil grenade. Ignite won’t set oil off by itself it needs to proc off a monster. If you’re struggling to ignite an enemy to start the chain you might need to spend more mana for fuel first, or look at your tree / gear for flammability magnitude etc.
