Can't Enter Qimah Reservoir

As the title suggest, I cant enter Qimah Resevoir from Qimah. I got here, dude put his staff in there, opened the door. I did not want to wait and walked away to get one of the pillars activated. I come back and there is no entry to Qimah Resevoir.

I tried reloading the instance multiple times, and even logged out for an hour, but nothing works. Am I cooked?

Okay, I guess this bug is now 7 months old. Apparently this can only be fixed by teleporting to someone who is in Qimah Reservoir, as stated here: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3832074

This would be incredibly frustrating if you had a SSF character, which I luckily don't
